Here’s a new bit of soft sci-fi/fantasy to sink your teeth into. In Liar, a mild salaryman finds out that continuity can be very important in keeping you from going over the edge.

New Story: Dead is the New Alive

I’m continuing my run of shoehorning in theme-names for my stories with Dead is the New Alive, where an elderly man goes to extreme measures to keep on living, even at a terrible price.

New Story: Thank God I’m Pretty

July 15th, 2012 by jkastronis

Oh my god! It’s a short story that’s not speculative fiction! No fantasy, no sci-fi! Just a regular, old-fashioned love story. Well, maybe not all together old-fashioned. Because in Thank God I’m Pretty, Mark and Sophia’s relationship isn’t quite the standard one.

New Story: Find Me a Man

July 9th, 2012 by jkastronis

Here’s a new story, set loosely in my world of Tyrus, about how making bargains with darkness often lead to foul results, even if it is a knight going to save the king’s daughter. It’s another fairly short, easy read, so please enjoy Find Me a Man.

New Story: Of the Sea and Its God

July 1st, 2012 by jkastronis

I started off this story wanting to just do a little, bit-sized piece of flash fiction but it got a little bit away from me. It clocked in at almost double what I’d intended it to be, though that still makes it quite short and easily digestible! It’s a nice quick read, at least!

In Of the Sea and Its God, we see the life of a fisherman as he deals with the vagaries of the sea.
